title: I'm Not Your Shield Anymore!
stars: sami callihan, jessicka havok

- I'M NOT YOUR SHIELD ANYMORE!-

"JESUS CHRIST!-MAKE IT STOP!"- was the shared reaction by all of the AEW fan base. That hiss of static was so loud and intrusive that it caused a good portion of the viewers to flinch away in agony, their hands covering their ears and some actually having to turn away from their view devices. The rest of them fumbled around for the remotes or for the volume button on whatever it was they had been watching AEW on. Be it a television, Android, Lap Top, Cell Phone- or whatever else you could think of; if it was capable of watching Attitude Era Wrestling then it was now squealing and hissing with static. It was as if the entire AEW production team had been hacked... which in all fairness, it had been. The AEW Faithful (not to be mistaken with any sort of 'Universe', after all, this company was above childish things like that)... cringed away as they fought through the noise of their deices being hijacked. It took a moment for the noise to die down and even longer for the snowy static to start to clear; but when it did, it presented a logo to the AEW audience that instantaneously gave them the chills.

That gruesome, snarling cartoon logo of Sami Callihan! Smart AEW marks have been seeing it pop up all over Twitter on various images; many of they are horribly photoshopped pictures meant to troll such superstars as Knux, Jay Briscoe- or as of late, Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose. Fans up until now thought them to be amusing... but harmless. Well, that harmless feeling was sure gone now. Now the fans could all feel their stomachs tighten into knots as that creepy Callihan cartoon logo begins to fade out and they are given a look into the mind of a REAL psychopath. Those poor marks who had happened to be watching Dean Ambrose's little 'youtube video' must be sitting in a puddle of their own bodily fluids; watching Dean's promo get taken hostage by someone who was once considered his little brother. Those who were part of the 'WWE Universe' had no idea what the hell was going on, but if you ate, slept and breathed AEW... then you didn't have to ask. This was the New F'N Horror. This was Sami Callihan, the human Death Machine!... and he was home. For better or worse, THAT is why the AEW faithful had chills. Because they knew what that logo meant. They knew what was coming. Ambrose, so confident in his promo, he seemed to have forgotten... but the Death Machine disciples, they have been waiting for this moment for months. It felt like it was bad kid Christmas. All around the world the freaks and misfits stopped stealing money from their parents wallets and pulled the razors away from their wrists and they tuned in.

It wasn't just the weird kids or those who were being forced against their will because they had been hacked; no, this was something different. It was like when you happen to drive past a car crash- sometimes you felt sick, sometimes you felt curious, sometimes you just wanted to look away but you just couldn't. It just somehow seemed to suck you in, making you part of the moment, part of the chaos. Maybe it was the flicking static, or the horrific squealing sound; but the fans felt like they were part of this madness. They couldn't back out, not now. They had to ride this messed up roller coaster to the end. If for nothing else, just so they would know... just so this spook story would have SOME kind of an ending. And spook story might of been the perfect word for it. As the picture finally came into view the spectators were stunned but not all out surprised to see that they had been taken to what was obviously an old Insane Asylum. What gave it away? It could of been the gothic architecture, or maybe it was how all the dirty and broken windows were barred- as if they were trying to keep something out. Oh, lets not lie to ourselves. As if they were trying to keep something... IN. All along the walls the splintering wooden doors held room numbers and the light fixtures above head were broken- but they had also been florescent, all signs of a hospital; had it not been buried under years of dirt and grime. Years of neglect, there is no telling how long it had been since this place had seen human life- well, that is before our 'friends' have decided to occupy it.

If you could ignore the water damaged ceiling, the filthy floor and all the broken... well- everything, the place had a sort of charm to it. OKAY! SO THERE WAS NO CHARM! But what it did offer was a mystery, so the viewers tagged along as the camera person took us down one of the hallways. We say camera person, because her steps seemed almost buoyant and springy- as he she were more swaying and gliding down the hall at a leisurely stroll. There was that, and then there was the fact that from behind the camera she starts to sing a morbid little tune as she gave the onlookers a tour of the hospital hallway.

"Don't ever laugh as a hearse goes bye- for you may be the next to die. They wrap you up in a big white sheet... from your head down to your feet" she says in a haunting, feminine voice. The voice wasn't necessarily beautiful, but it did belong to a woman. And it sounded... flighty, almost lost. There was a morbid humor to it, because she chuckled after she sung these lyrics aloud to the melody that only she could hear. Her swaying movements taking us further and further down the hall. Closer to a destination that some were starting to question if they really wanted to reach it. Oh well, too late now. Given that this was a Callihan production, that means the woman could only be one person... it looks like Sami wasn't coming back alone. He had brought Havok with him. Jessicka lead the way, no doubt to where Sami was, as she kept singing that messed up song.

'DAUGHTER OF DESTRUCTION' HAVOK;
"They put you in a big black box... and cover you up with dirt and rocks. It all goes well for about a week... and then your coffin begins to leak. Ooooohhhhhh... the worms crawl in, the worms crawl out. The worms play pea knuckle on your snout. They eat your eyes... they eat your toes... they eat the jelly between your toes. Oooohhh Sami... the worms crawl in.... Where are you?... the worms crawl out... Oooohhh Samiiiii... the worms come spewing out your mouth. Where aaaaarrrreeeee yyyyoooooouuuu?"
she calls down the halls, peaking her head around various doorways to look for her demented lover. She does this for several rooms, no longer singing the tune but she keeps humming it so the viewers can't seem to get away from it.

Most people would be unnerved to go searching an abandoned mental hospital by themselves- but not Havok. She just kept humming that odd little tune of hers as she checked each room they came across. It wasn't until they hit the 4th or 4th room that she finally found what she was looking for. As she rounded into this room she suddenly lets out a sort of demented spree of cackles and chuckles, the camera shook a bit as she stomped her foot eagerly before she quickly straightened up, like she was trying not to ruin the shot. What we are treated to is a shot of none other than 'The New Horror' himself, Sami Callihan. Sami was dressed in a ragged black dress shirt. The thing might of been nice once, but now it had a rip in it up near his shoulder and the collar was tattered and the shirt looked stained and dirty in spots. Like had been wearing it for a few days. He kept the sleeves rolled up to his elbows and it was half tucked in and half out, and his belt was studded. The jeans he had on had holes in the knees and were just as blood and grease stained as his shirt was. Callihan was a bit of a mess, but he seemed to be in good health. That was speaking of the physical... mentally? Now that was a tougher call to make.

'DAUGHTER OF DESTRUCTION' HAVOK;
"Oh, Sami!- I found you! Guess what, this is so crazy! Do you remember Dean?- you know, Dean Ambrose? What am I saying!? Of coarse you do! Well anyways- get this, he has made a youtube video about you! Crazy!, right? That's what I thought too! But I was just curious if you'd... seen... ... it"
he voice trailed off, stopping her from her insanely content rambling like she finally could see what the rest of the world had been looking at.

If it was possible to trash an already trashed room... Callihan had done it. The padded walls had all been ripped of their fluff so that exposed stone could be seen. The rusted bed frame had been busted up and piled up into the corner into a makeshift chair; some of the wall stuffing was used to cushion the seating. We seen a few empty beer bottles and all different kinds of trash that had been left behind on the floor from generations of brave, partying teens. But fans also can't notice what looks like a laptop; only it was snapped in half and the keyboard had been shoved halfway into one of the walls. The scene however was cracked and frozen, but it showed the same Dean Ambrose promo that all of the AEW faithful have seen. The same video that some fans had been interrupted from just now. Fans seen as the almost smug looking face of Dean Ambrose looked back at them from behind the cracked screen of Callihan's laptop... Havok clears her throat and speaks up.

'DAUGHTER OF DESTRUCTION' HAVOK;
"Hmmm... I guess you already have..."
she said this halfheartedly as she walked into the room and started filming Calliah from a different angle.

If Sami had heard her, he didn't acknowledge it. He kept his shoulder turned to the camera as he faced one of the falls where a dart board was hung. His maddened eyes were fixed on it and a snarling expression was glued on his face. When he spoke it was hard to tell who it was directed at, Havok or the viewers she brought with her.

'THE NEW HORROR' SAMI CALLIHAN;
"He called me trash..."
Sami says in a low and shaky voice.

Callihan jerks his head to the side, cracking his neck as he then throws a dart violently into the board; causing it to stick with a firm 'thud'! His face twitched a little with rage as he took aim with another dart.

'THE NEW HORROR' SAMI CALLIHAN;
"He called me a stepping stone..."
Callihan said with a bit of a growl now, a tremor running through his body before he throws again.

'Thud-thud-tud'! This time he stuck three darts into the board and once again it looked like he had to bite back some kind of roar or shout- his face contorting as if choking it back left a bad taste in his mouth. He takes aim again but suddenly his eyes were glossed over with something else- like they were lost in memory as he spoke.

'THE NEW HORROR' SAMI CALLIHAN;
"He said... he said... he..."
Callihan shook harder and dropped a few of the darts that he had been holding. He clutched one in his hand and it was at this time the camera panned over enough to give the viewers a better look at that dart board Callihan had been aiming for.

'THE NEW HORROR' SAMI CALLIHAN;
"He said... HE SAID HE WAS BETTER THAN ME!"
Callihan suddenly let loose, now throwing the few darts he had left at the board blindly, not caring if they stick or not, as he then rounds on the camera.

Callihan hocked a logy back and spit it on the floor before he rolled both of his shoulders and his neck. A bit of spit still sticks to his chin that he wipes at absentmindedly with the back of his hand. He paid it little attention, instead his eyes were fixed on the camera. And they narrowed as if they could see the viewers; or maybe even past them and all the way to someone else. Callihan looked murderous and his voice shook with the effort it took to control himself. It was still raised and full of that hatred Callihan is known for.

'THE NEW HORROR' SAMI CALLIHAN;
"HE GETS A LITTLE BIT OF THAT SPOTLIGHT!-A LITTLE TASTE OF THAT DRUG! AND ALL OF A SUDDEN HE THINKS HE IS TOO GOOD FOR ME!? HE THINKS THAT HE HAS A BOO-HOO, TEAR JERKER OF A MATCH AGAINST HIS 'BROTHER' ROMAN REIGNS SUDDENLY PUTS HIM ON A HIGHER LEVEL THAN ME!? HE THINKS!!- HE THINKS... he thinks I'm just going to let him go... let him walk away, just like that. And Dean, if that is what you truly believe... then you couldn't be more WRONG!"
Callihan snarled into the camera, reaching up with his hand to pull at his own hair as he takes a step towards the camera.

Sami had that demented look in his eyes as he goes from pulling his hair to digging in his ear absentmindedly, cocking his head to the side for a moment before flicking the filth out of view. But still he kept his bulging eyes fixed on the camera that Havok was holding, it had become his window to the outside world and he was going to take advantage of it. He cracked his neck again and went on with his chaotic outbursts- because honestly there was a bit of a method and truth to the madness. Even if that truth was lost in the hands of this odd ball. But either way, this was Callihan's show now.

'THE NEW HORROR' SAMI CALLIHAN;
"Ambrose, you listen to me- and you listen good! You don't just get to 'walk away'! Do you hear me!? You can't turn your back, NOT on a guy like me! Because I will much sooner break your God damned LEG!-before I let you just walk away from me. Do you get that? Good- because Dean, come Concussion you are going to be in very a very rude awakening if you think this is some sort of therapy session for you! BECAUSE THIS ISN'T! YOU ARE NOT IN THE BUBBLE OF SAFETY BACK ON THAT LEATHER COUCH! AND I DON'T GIVE A DAMN THAT YOUR MOTHER WAS A WHORE AND YOUR FATHER- DEPENDING ON THE ONE WHO IS WILLING TO CLAIM YOU THIS WEEK!- IS AN ABUSIVE SON OF A BITCH! I DON'T CARE! THIS ISN'T ABOUT YOU! IT'S NOT ABOUT YOU! IT'S ALWAYS BEEN ABOUT YOU!- BUT NOT!!!...not this time"
Callihan struggled desperately to keep himself under control. He had advanced a few more steps on Havok and her camera and the way he lifted his hand made some fans question if he might go after Havok.

But... Sami didn't. He lowered his shaking hand and cleared his throat. He took a step back and calmly rubbed the back of his own neck and lowered his eyes down to the dirty floor and when he spoke it was slightly less hostile and more riddled with thought.

'THE NEW HORROR' SAMI CALLIHAN;
"See this time Dean, this isn't about you... no, it isn't. This time it is about me. It's about Sami Callihan. Now to you, that name might not mean all that much. You made that very clear with your public stroll down memory lane. But you know what, Dean? I CAN WALK THAT PATH TOO! I CAN REMEMBER THINGS!... things about you that you keep hidden from the rest of the world. Things you probably keep hidden from yourself. But you couldn't hide them from me... not someone who, like it or not, was the only person in this world who gave a damn about you. The only person who can say they know the REAL Dean Ambrose!- or rather, the man you use to be! Because right now, the more I think about it... the harder it is for me to say that I know you. Sure, you sound like my brother... and you walk around, wearing his face like some sick mask! But when I look into your eyes... it is like looking at a shadow than an actual person! You are just an outline! Just a shell! My brother, the REAL LUNATIC... something happened to him. He's gone. He's gone, and YOU!... you're the last known suspect to have seen him alive! YOU!-DEAN AMBROSE!... are holding my brother hostage. You have to nerve to come out here and talk about 'the old times' as if you truly remember them! Like you didn't turn your back on the old ways, LIKE YOU DIDN'T TURN YOUR BACK ON ME! YOU LEFT ME IN HELL, YOU BASTARD! YOU LEFT ME TO BURN ALIVE IN A WORLD FULL OF BROKEN GLASS, BARBED WIRE AND MORE SICK AND TWISTED DEVICES THAN YOU CAN IMAGINE! YOU LEFT ME THERE TO DIE!... you left me there... to rott. So when you boo hoo about all the blood you've spilled, all the sacrifices you've made... it dosn't mean a damn thing to me! Because when it is all said and done, you took your ball and you went home! And when you did that... you betrayed my brother, I just didn't want to see it. No... I didn't want to BELIEVE it! I wanted to think that you were the same man that I use to look up to!"
Sami says with ruthless conviction as he advances on the camera again.

'THE NEW HORROR' SAMI CALLIHAN;
"I wanted to believe that you were still the rabid dog, still a KILLER! JUST LIKE ME!... but you said it yourself- you've 'earned the respect from my peers. My most hated rivals, and most importantly, the people that wear my merchandise'... so how about we just call a spade, a spade? You've gone soft, Dean! You've become the very thing you've once hated! You've become just another 'Sports Entertainer'. Don't try to make excuses, because no one will buy it! We can all see it when we look at you! You are a man who felt 'all sad and emotional' because you had to face Roman Reigns, when lets be honest! The only reason you were there in the first place was because Havok and I made it happen! We were the ones who helped you get that opportunity! Just like we were the ones who stood beside you and watched GWF burn! From day one, Sami Callihan and Jessicka Havok have been doing what is best for Dean Ambrose! No matter what the price! And now... now you actually got the nerve to say you are better than me? That I am nothing more than a stepping stone to you? Is that it, Dean? IS THAT THE WAY THIS IS GOING TO BE!? BECAUSE IF SO, BY ALL MEANS- LETS PLAY THAT GAME! LETS GO DOWN THAT ROAD! BECAUSE YOU MIGHT OF BEEN TOP SHIT IN THE 'SPORTS ENTERTAINMENT' WORLD, BUT HERE IN AEW- YOU ARE NOTHING! ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!... But me? I... Am... The New Horror. I am a survivor of Feast or Fired... and Havok and I, when we were World Tag Team Champions... well, lets just say there is a reason that even the Briscoe Brothers went into hiding. In the world of AEW, people don't see you as Raven and me as Stevie Richards... all they see is a spot light hungry 'sports entertainer'... and the psychopath he is facing. Those are the rolls you have forced us into playing- and it sickens me! It sickens me because it didn't have to be this way, it didn't have to end with me ripping out your throat! But you made me do this! You turned your back on me! You use to be my brother, but now... now you are just a coward!"
Callihan says this without any sympathy in his voice. He takes a few more steps towards Havok and the camera once more.

'THE NEW HORROR' SAMI CALLIHAN;
"Dean, unlike Roman- I won't let you hide behind me! Not anymore! Because I'm NOT your stepping stone, and I damn sure aint your SHIELD! I'M NOT GOING TO PROTECT YOU! UNLIKE YOU, I HAVEN'T GONE SOFT OR DULL! MY EDGES ARE STILL SHARP! I AM STILL A SWITCHBLADE!... if you think I am going to just lay down for you, Dean... then I'd be more than happy to show you the business end of it! And don't think I'm playing games!-I'll do it! Unlike you... I'm not scared to get my hands dirty. If it means taking back my home and liberating my brother- I'm prepared to do anything. Because AEW is MY home, Dean! This is MY ASYLUM, NOT YOURS! SO WELCOME!... WELCOME TO THE CALLIHAN DEATH CAMP! And would you look at that!?... you've got the first ticket! So step right up, Dean! Step into that ring! STEP INTO MY WORLD! Because when you do, do you know what happens next!? Huh!? I'll tell you! I'm going to hurt you! Make you scream! Make you suffer! I'm going to do whatever it takes to rip that mask you call a face off! Because you don't have the right! You don't have the right to even LOOK like Jon Moxley! Because you're not him... you could NEVER be him! So out of respect for my brother, for the DEPARTED Jon Moxley... I'm going to do him this final honor... I'm going to take out this wanna be"
he says without fear or regret in his voice.

Havok and the rest of the AEW world seemed glued to every word Callihan said as he advanced on them. His eyes set on the camera and his words absolutely chilling.

'THE NEW HORROR' SAMI CALLIHAN;
"Dean, you called Concussion a nightmare for me? No, Concussion isn't going to be a nightmare... and it definitely isn't going to be a dream. At Concussion, The New Horror... The Callihan Death Machine- HE'S COMING HOME! And the long time members, they know that when Callihan comes to town... he brings a funeral with him. And that is exactly what is going to take place. This is going to be the funeral of Dean Ambrose, a chance for the fans to say goodbye to their favorite goofball!- and more importantly, a chance for me to say goodbye to the shadow of my brother! Dean, this week you need to listen to the chants! You need to listen to the hype! Because Sami Callihan is home, and these people... THEY CAME FOR STIFF! THAT'S WHY I'M GOING TO RATTLE YOUR BRAIN! THAT'S WHY!... I'm going to take your head off. To put an end to you... and to give my brother peace. AEW, I'm back... and at Concussion I am going to show the world why there is only room for ONE lunatic in this asylum. I run this institution... I call the shots"
and with that, Callihan hocks a loogy again and spits. He reaches up and covers the eye of the camera so that they can only see glimpses of him from between his fingers.

Callihan walks out of view, but Havok remains in the room. She lets a few seconds pass before she turns the camera around and props it up on some trash so that it now points at her. Havok then looks suspiciously from side to side to make sure Callihan wasn't around and then she removed some type of card from her back pocket. She puts a few sloppy kisses on it and chuckles sinisterly. Leaning down, Havok holds the card up for all of AEW to see.

'DAUGHTER OF DESTRUCTION' HAVOK;
"See you all there, hehehehehehahahahaha"
Havok cackled like some naughty child as she propped the invitation up in front of the camera and then took off in the same direction Sami had.

The final moments of the scene are spent giving the AEW faithful a look at that morbidly sweet invite to the funeral of Dean Ambrose. Concussion was starting to shape up into something monumental, and this match would be no different. With all eyes still fixed on Dean the scene slowly began to fade to black as the static returned again... leaving fans with this lingering impression of 'The Callihan Death Machine' as he sets to make his return to AEW. The scene cuts out.

end.
